Angela Behrendt - 2nd December 2008

Some very old "stickers" from Angela in Germany. They seem too good to stick on the bin and I wonder if they are "transfers" which may be too old now to work properly. I would hate to spoil them as they look great as they are.
Angela also sent some modern stickers which will go on the bin very soon.
Angela says- " Here are some stickers for you. The new York stickers are very old and the "BB" stickers are from the Berlin Biennale. Please notice the stitched stamp: if you have an idea - wonderful!"

Sadly these two massive A4 stickers from Mark are really two big for the wheelie bin which is almost full though space on the inside ofcourse and on the bottom when its empty. I will have to see what I can do.

Mailarta from Canada sent another batch of great stickers. I took a photo but pressed the wrong button and made a short film. It seemed a shame to delete it so added some sound effects and intro-outro and here you have it. I might make some more. If you are lucky!

Mim from Richmond VA U.S.A. sent more stickers and a note that says - " The boards one is from a former art student of mine whom I accidentally met up with recently. It's fun to see what they end up doing."

Noticed some stickers are being nibbled at the corners. First I thought it was the garbage men or kids going to school but realise after seeing a big snail chewing away today that it must be slugs and snails having a midnight feast of mail art!"

Nice packet of goodies today from Adanaland . Alan sent some lovely Rambling Urchin postcards and article from Matrix 27 publication about his work with Hedgehog Press etc. Nice set of Women of Adanaland postage stamps and this great sticker - woodblock on Fablon!

Alan says- " Thanks for the wonderful Adanalandish GPO cards. Those were the days! Now there are so many issues that I have to tell the PO counter staff when they are being issued so that they can fetch them out of the safe!"

Update - 25th July 2008

Here we see the curator sticking some of the latest offerings to the gallery walls. He's noticed that some little devils have been trying to peel some of the artworks off but thankfully the adhesive is strong stuff. Still plenty of time to contribute - deadline is March 2009.
